Welcome to High Down Nursery

Our Nursery provides a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can enjoy a positive start to their school journey. The Nursery is open during term time only, with flexible options for children to attend morning, afternoon or all-day sessions.

Our Nursery provision is an integral part of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), enabling children in Nursery and Reception to share our outdoor provision at carefully planned points throughout the day. This provides valuable opportunities for children to develop friendships, build confidence and strengthen their social interactions across the EYFS.

Our EYFS provision is led by our Assistant Headteacher, Rachel Hayward, who works closely with our dedicated Early Years team to ensure that every child is supported to learn, grow and thrive.

Our Nursery is open during term time:

• 8.45–11.45am and 12.30–3.30pm

Lunch club:

• 11.45–12.30pm (£5.50 for supervision and play)
