Uniform

We are proud of how smart and well-presented our children look, and our school uniform helps us to create a strong sense of belonging and community.

We often hear from parents and visitors how much they value the high standards our children maintain, and we are delighted that our pupils wear their uniform with such pride.

We ask families to ensure that all items of clothing are clearly named, as this makes it much easier for lost items to be returned to their owners. Coats may be any colour or style, so please choose one that is practical and suitable for your child.

PE Kit

Children in Years 1 to 6 should come to school wearing their PE kit on their PE days. For safety and practicality, long hair should be tied back on PE days.

School-branded uniform items are available from Your School Uniform, although branded items are not compulsory. We are happy for families to choose non-branded alternatives that meet our uniform expectations.

Hair

We ask that children's hairstyles are neat, tidy and practical for school. We encourage children to express themselves while avoiding extreme fashion styles. Hair dye that creates an unnatural colour is not permitted.

Our Uniform

Our uniform is an important part of school life and helps children feel that they belong to our school community. We appreciate the support of our families in helping children to look smart, feel comfortable and take pride in being part of our school.

Please see the information below for details of what children should wear. If you have any questions about our uniform, please don't hesitate to speak to a member of the school office team or your child's class teacher. We are always happy to help.

Second-Hand Uniform

We are pleased to offer second-hand uniform through our PSA. This is a great way to save money and give good-quality uniform a new lease of life. If you would like to find out what is available, please contact the school office and we will put you in touch with the PSA.

Junior School – House Colour Days

House Colour Days are a fun opportunity for children to celebrate their house and show their team spirit. On these days, children may wear a plain T-shirt in their house colour, together with their usual school trousers or skirt and school shoes.

We currently sell plain red, blue, green and yellow T-shirts for approximately £3.50 through ParentPay. Alternatively, families are very welcome to purchase their own plain T-shirt in the appropriate house colour.

Earrings and Hair

For safety, earrings worn in school should be simple, safe and functional. Stud earrings are permitted, but other styles of earrings should not be worn.

Children with long hair must have it tied back for PE and swimming, so please ensure your child has a suitable hair band available at school.

Name Labels

Please remember to name all items of your child's uniform and belongings. Multi-purpose sticky name labels can be purchased from Label Planet. These labels require no sewing or ironing and can be used on clothing, shoes, lunch boxes, bottles and other school belongings. They are designed to withstand up to 40 washes.

By using the school's fundraising number when ordering, up to 30% of the cost will be donated to our PSA, helping to fund resources and experiences for our children.

School fundraising number: 9536

Please enter this number at the bottom of the order details page, just above the 'Add to Basket' box. It is important to include the number so that the school receives the fundraising contribution. Orders are quick and easy to place, postage is free and labels are dispatched promptly.

We hope you find this information helpful and thank you for supporting our school and PSA through your purchases.
